Steve Jobs movie to premiere

The biopic of Steve Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival next month with the film covering Jobs's life from 1970 to 2000

A movie of the life of Steve Jobs, entitled jOBS, is set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival next month. The film, which stars Ashton Kutcher as the late Apple CEO, will close the film festival in Park City, Utah.
"We're really excited to have it as the closing night," Sundance’s Director Of Programming Trevor Groth said, "It's really an inspirational and entertaining film about a man who has had such a significant impact on the world."
Aside from Kutcher, the film stars Matthew Modine, Dermot Mulroney, James Woods and JK Simmons. The movie reportedly covers Jobs’s life from 1971 through to 2000, including the founding of Apple with Steve Wozniak, Jobs’s removal as CEO, and his eventual return.
Along with news of the film’s premiere, Entertainment Weekly has revealed one of the first on-set pictures of Kutcher as Steve Jobs. While it may sound like a stretch to some for the Two And A Half Men star to play the genius behind Apple, Groth is full of praise for Kutcher.
"My hunch is he got the job because he bears such a striking resemblance to Jobs physically," Groth told USA Today, "but (Kutcher) really owns the performance."
